with my tiffany & co heart ring from the boyfi for our 1 yr anniversary last week! ♥
- a little bit blurry.. might upload a close up pic of it soon :B

pretty bedroom!
- wish my room looked like this! looooving the bed & pillows & the little sofa thing!
within the span of 2 days i have splurged on some treasures which i love dearly from my all-time-favourite label:
i am one happy little lady shopping up a storm! (:
i went to my FIRST HIGH TEA on sunday!!!! (: i’ve been dying to go for ages, & finally got the chance to when i got invited to my work mate’s 21st.
it was held at LITTLE STOVE which is a cute, retro vintage cafe!
one of the things i love most about high tea is dressing up in pretty, frilly, girly, summery dresses!
outfit for the afternoon:

there were 2 waiters who served our little cohort for the evening. there were a mix of sweet & savoury dishes that lasted throughout the party & the waiters thoughtfully rotated all the dishes to ensure that everyone got a taste of all the treats!
i am an absolute sucker when it comes to pretty things, so i just died a little bit inside of girly overjoy when i saw all the pretty, delicate, intricate details of the teacups, teapots, platters, interiors & nick-nacks!
upon everyones arrival, we were all served with mini hot chocolates which were in mini old-school milk bottles, with a little straw & a marshmallow on top! i have a theory that i enjoy eating mini things more, which makes my taste buds just a little bit biased! there’s something about mini foods that i love.. they’re just so cute & small you don’t wanna eat it cos it’s so tiny & delicate.
we first started with the savoury dishes:
salmon & cucumber sandwiches - they looked so pretty; i loved how they were rolled up to create a swirly effect. the salmon was good, the flavours were simple and clean. however, i did not try the cucumbre sandwich.. tho i did hear it was pretty average.
mini ham & cheese toasted sandwiches - these toasted sandwiches were delicious! it was toasted to perfection; golden brown crispy toast with oozing melted cheese and ham!

… (other savoury dishes which i didn’t get a picture of :c)
quiche with pumpkin, feta & sundried tomatoes - defnitely my favourite savoury dish!! the flavour combination was just perfect, like they were made for each other.
puff pastry with sundried tomato - very average; plain puff pastry topped with a small piece of sundried tomato & something green & leafy which i can’t seem to recall what it was :s
we were also supplied with unlimited drinks (i.e. certain coffees, hot chocolate and teas) at our request. i opted for the good old cappuccino! i love how asthetically pleasing the drinks are with their chocolatey decorations imprinted in the frothy goodness on top! it’s all about the little details! ;)

next … time for the sweet dishes!!! =9 for those of you that don’t know, i have a major sweet tooth & basically adore every dessert under the sun!
scones with home-made strawberry jam & cream, and mini cumprets with honey - omg! these were probably the best scones that i have ever tasted (however, i haven’t ate that many scones in my life). there really is a huuuuge difference between the full of preservative strawberry jam you buy from the supermarket, to the hearty, full-of-real-fruity-flavour home-made strawberry jam! top the scone with this amazing jam & a fluffy mountain cloud of whipped cream.. & i’m a happy girl (:
i have never seen crumpets so mini in my life! you could literally eat them in a mouthful.
(regretfully, i also didn’t get a pic of these as they were placed far, far away from me to take a good pic.. & everyone dived into them as soon as they were set on the table :c)
cream-filled cupcakes toped with a raspberry, nougat, fruit tarts and melting moments - the cupcakes & nougat were good, but nothing spectacular.
the melting moments were scrumptious - the biscuit was just the right amount of crumbley and melt-in-your-mouth while the cream filling had a slight tang to it.
the fruit tart was my favourite sweet dish! the custard was the perfect consistency and not too sweet and the banana, strawberry and blueberry on top were sweet & ripe.. YUMMM!!

if you take the time to take a little wonder around the cafe, you will come across a myriad of little vintage treasures in every nook & cranny! my favourites would have to be the little house teapot & cupcboard teapot ornaments (pictured above, most right) - i just wanted to steal them & take them home with me!
there was also a vintage tv used as a table, knitted teapot warmers adorned on teapots, pretty vases, picnic baskets, chairs standing on the fire place stacked with vintage books, etc.
very pleased with my first high tea experience! i would defnitely recommend little stove & am looking forward to going to another high tea (:

my new sbubstitute for coffee = TEA!!!
… so i’m starting this thing & trying to attempt to stop going for frequent coffee runs during work! >_____<” & limiting myself to one coffee per day (in the morning with breakfast) … the only excpetion is a hot 35+ degree day where i will allow myself the occassional ice coffee of some sort :B
i am trying to opt for the more healthy option.. just being a little bit health concious lately as i sit on my ass all day long from monday to friday & eat out most weekends.
here’s to tea.. my new drink of liquid substance ?!

so about a month ago, i finally splurged on a pair of the much coveted prada minimal baroque sunnies that i’ve been lusting for!!
i came across them on a fashion blog that i regularly read, & it was instant love at first sight!
i did my research AFTER investing my money, which for those who know me is very rare! … google search tells me they’re adorned on the faces of such celebrities as mary-kate olsen, eva mendez & gwen stefani to name a few..

these babies are part of the limited edition minimal baroque collection - only 500 pairs of each model made world-wide!! & lucky little me got my hands on the last pair in australia (so the shop assistant said) :3
the ad campaigns for the collection were pretty amazing as well; featuring 8 photographers to shoot the styles in conjunction with Vogue Italia.

aren’t they one of the most beautiful pairs of sunnies u’ve ever seen ?? … haha, well @ least that’s how i feel about them ;)
i opted for the simple black frames with the grey gradient lenses
my original dream sunnies were the chanel half tints (on the right - damn olsen twins, they have the best sunnies; i’m so jelly!).. which are also limited edition. but back then i couldn’t afford to splurge on sunnies due to my minimum wage :c

i loove the half tint lenses of the chanel, but i looove the rococo curls of the prada which make for an exquisitely designed frame.. none like any other i’ve seen before. i guess the gradient lenses slightly resemble the half tint lenses … but in a more subtle way ?! so overall, if i could only pick one pair.. i just might have to go with the prada :B
my new love!
♥so my package arrived today! :D i felt like a little kid on christmas @ midnight, undoing the sticky tape & ripping apart the wrapping in anticipation of what was tucked away inside!
my dress & top turned out exactly as i expected (: altho, the size 6 of the top was ever so slightly too big.. but i had a feeling it wld b since it’s like a baggy style. & the dress fits me perfectly.
i’m happy with my goodies from online.. but would i shop online again ?! hmm.. maybe.. but not too often. i hate not being able to try on the clothes before buying them. & the prices aren’t like super cheap compared to the stores anyways. but i’m glad my first online shopping experience was a good one :3

love little parcels & packages :3 especially when they’re customised or hand-made.
